Our company, founded here in Kyoto in 1896, celebrates its 120th anniversary this year.
If we look back to history, we and the rest of society faced numerous challenges like flooding, recessions, and war, yet we managed to pull through. Thanks to the steadfast support of our clients for many years, we have gotten to where we are today. Again, our deepest thanks go out to everyone. Tanimura got its start with lamps and glass, with the product lineup changing with each era. Today, we carry a wide range of products that spans from iron and steel items to everyday goods. For each and every one of these items, we know that serving as clients' best ally is our number-one priority. It was through that spirit that our product range and areas of expertise came to grow.
